www.motoconnectionworldwide.com
Moto Connection is a locally based specialist supplier of Motocross & Enduro parts, accessories & graphics and was originally founded in is his spare time by John Wuwer.
It's an interesting case study in how the Internet has enabled a specialist sole-trader to create a valuable business selling products online to a niche and global market.
Beginnings
“It started with selling a box of spare parts on eBay” says John who, surprised at the simplicity and immediate success, went on to create a dedicated eBay store.

Since forming PCS we've enjoyed the good fortune to develop friendships alongside our professional relationships with our clients, partners and suppliers - especially with so many of these based locally. It's not unusual to meet the same people within the contexts of a business networking lunch, a music gig or a charity event. It's one of the pleasures of operating in an area like ours. The rise of social media and electronic communication has served to enhance relationships formed in real life.
Every so often something surprising comes along - something out of the ordinary.
One such example is our meeting with and subsequent work for the Purple Man of York.
Purple Man has become a well known and much loved character on the York street scene in recent years. Google "Purple Man of York" and you'll find...

We recently created a website for local artist Liza Cook - www.lizas-easel.co.uk
Liza studied surveying and worked in the construction industry before making the break and following her dream to become a professional artist.
She has created profiles for herself on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn yet recognised the importance of having her own Website and Internet Domain (lizas-easel.co.uk).
We have worked with Liza to create her own place on the web - ensuring that she:
can update her own website herself
is customised to her own design - not some limited template
is found by search engines
has a real business email id
has a gallery to display her work...

We've recently taken on the creation of a website for a new ‘Pet-Friendly’ Bed & Breakfast opening soon on Maison Dieu in Richmond.
Owned by Liz Dinsmore, the property will have three well appointed bedrooms decorated and furnished to a high level of comfort and service. In addition, Eliza House will offer off-street parking and a secure area for bicycles for visiting cyclists.
Purple Creative has been selected to design and build a website that will adopt a Victorian theme in keeping with the property and it’s décor. It will showcase the rooms and facilities and will include an on-line booking facility.
Our work on the website is running in parallel with the refurbishment of the actual property.
We'll let you know when the website is on-line and when Liz is open for business!

One of the latest web projects completed by us has gone live today. The new Fillcrete website ( www.fillcrete.com) was designed to replace the older all flash site which users were finding hard to navigate through.
Purple was engaged, by the Kent based business, to come up with a design more in keeping with the Companies actual business activities and product range.
The new site is crisp and clear adopting Fillcrete's branding and much easier to navigate to the various sections.
